Welcome my name is David Jones. I Pray I can encourage the beginner oil painter among others through my journey as an artist and provide an ambiance through my paintings for all viewers to enjoy!  Whether you just love to look at different artists work, you’re trying to find that something different for your art collection and or home décor or simply came here by mistake; I hope you enjoy your visit.
I passionately paint mostly Landscapes in a variety of styles and prefer to paint from my imagination more of fantasy than not. Though I paint from my imagination I cannot deny that they are all completely influenced by the beautiful world that God has created for us! Without him I would have nothing, no world, no concept, and no existence only uttermost darkness. Sorry if that depresses some of you but I rejoice in thanksgiving that it is not our reality!
I love to paint in all different styles, colors, Intensity and value to create the visual mood I feel and want to portray to the viewer. This isn’t anything new or cutting edge but it is how I paint, no particular style, no molds no rules! With all that being said, one of the most important things to me as an artist is to someday be able to give back more than I received to the community to our neighbors to those in need.
To all those artists beginning their journey it is very important not to compare yourself to others but to yourself alone, ask yourself this question am I a better version of myself? Understanding different techniques, styles, color matching, color mixing and so much more is important but not as important as just getting time painting. You will never stop learning you will never know enough just remember to be yourself, find what your passionate about and do it! Most importantly remember you were created with a purpose you are important, you are needed! God willing you can touch the lives of others being mindful in reinforcing how magnificently we are made!
